OK , I'll go with that , considering it looks like you had hearing protection.

I have a pair of safety glasses that I butchered down to size a child's head as a friend and his young son were shooting with me one day. No less than 1/2 an hour later after I cut them down to size his son smacked himself in the eye getting too close to the slide on a pistol. I was so glad he had the safety glasses on , just minor damage/pain , could have much worse. I still keep those chopped glasses in my range bag.
