We are both very happy. My wife is my best friend and I can’t imagine a world without her.Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I married a very tolerable woman. I don’t know if happy describes her !
But she is way less mean when I quit running with Jack Daniels and started coming home at night !

It’s a lazy man who can’t find his wife a second job !

Sounds like you got a good one!!! Lol I got a good one too. Not always happy but we have made a good thing of it for 41 years now. It has been a give and take partnership not sure now if I could survive without her on my own.

Happy Wife, Happy Life......How come Nothing rhymes with Husband? It always a one-way street dealing with this subject.

I have been married for 35 plus years. My advice is its cheaper to get a hooker. I know a guy that fly's one in for a week at a time than she back on the plane till the next time. He says it works really well.

Nope, don’t plan to be. Never heard a man or woman say you need to get married, that’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Always 100% the opposite. Now I have heard men say she was the best thing that ever happen to me. Can’t count that, he just hasn’t known better. I'll say it. 33 years and I can't imagine being without her. You just have to pick wisely. Nothing like having a true partner for the bad times. The good times are easy. | | |

Gary, do you see see your ex at family gatherings then? Not yet but it's getting closer. It's only been 5 years. She says she wants to meet my wife. She also apologized to me...said she's sorry she ever met me.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

My wife and I have been together for almost 20 years... married for 14. We share no interests and she barely tolerates me and my 8,000 hobbies. I do lover her more than anything, and I want her to be perfectly happy... but not at the expense of my happiness. I established long ago that if the "honey-do" list gets pushed aside in favor of an opportunity to hunt or trap that she can choose to be angry over it OR understand that I prioritize some things differently than her.
It ain't perfect, but its' been working.

 Just happy to be here.

Been married 34 years. Unfortunately it has been with 3 different women. No question, for me, third time's a charm. Very happy with this one. I think she is too.
