So this has been brought up to me a few times over the last week or so by concerned members and was asked to make a post .

Please watch what y'all post . Please no damaged feet , parts y'all found in traps , critters caught by their private bits , bloody paws , you about to dispatch some critter with a bat or something...

Yes I know trapping isn't Disney and all that but please just think before you post .

And no not saying not to post dead animals, animals in traps , or start holding hands and be boy scouts or something. Just watch what you post please. Don't forget there's a whole anti site and a few antis who are dedicated to surfing this place looking for stuff .... If you know you know .

Not pointing fingers or talking about anyone in particular.

I also wish some of the people that post on You Tube would watch the things they are showing plus some of the pictures I've seen over the years in the trapping magazines including the front cover. My mail lady is a non-trapper.

The bloody toes on the wolf in my vid wasn’t from me. Thought maybe it was from fighting the ram but after skinning the feet out today, it’s from something else and I think I know what. I didn’t think it’d show on vid but after watching it, it’s noticeable. Sorry dude.
I should at least cleaned it up had I known.

Thankfully this site, and a few others, have moderators that watch for this. Where it is overwhelmingly bad is Facebook where everyone has their own little platform. I have a theory that so few actually DO ANYTHING anymore that catching any animal is a huge deal for them and the next step seems to be escalating poor taste pics to crank up their comments followed by “ I’m showing real life” or some such comment. It’s out of hand guys. We’ll see it hurting us large scale before too much longer.

What about the guys & gals that have killed more things than the plague, but they’re proud of what they do and some probably make a dollar on social media including tv? They’re promoting our trade & way of life….not our sport.
I won’t mention names, but the people that are all excited about a catch like it’s their first is a good attitude in my books.
I’ve been guilty of some pics that were taken in all the excitement, looking back I should’ve wiped some blood off or whatever, but you’re right that some are a little too far.

I believe most trappers are not mean or do not care about the animals they are catching They just see it as how the reality of trapping is In order to be a successful trapper you need to take the surplus animals in the area you are trapping In the world .of nature population control is not kind or fair and it has no favorites or concern for those that do not survive With that being said it is still to our benefit to show respect and be grateful for what the animals you are taking providing in returning to you In the end a little respect for the critters you are catching does not cost you anything .WOLFDOG THANKS FOR BRINGING THIS TO ALL OF OUR ATTENTION It wlll make Trapperman more visitor friendly .
