Think this is largest above water bodygrip permitted in ohio......how is it possible to get a behind the neck catch on racoon with such small opening and is belisle the strongest on market......is trap and dispatch possible.

Not a trapper, cage trap racoon skunk groundhog in barn, those who are insulting, go annoy others, if you have humorous comment fine, only fresh stuff

It kills the raccoons Instanitly if you use it right. Scott Adams tactical 5x5 shows how to catch coons and even fox with 155s

PETA is stupid.

Your 155's have a 5x5 opening. Not much larger than a 110 or 120 at 4.5 inches square. I know a 220 Coni will fit nicely inside a 5-gallon bucket, but they are also mostly 7 x 7 inches which is nearly "half" again as large as a 155. I'd like to own a bunch of your 155's for trapping Muskrats through the ice. I've never seen or used one. 220's are a little too large but then again for that, I've caught small beavers in the 220's that were for the "rats". I'd build a box that is a little over 5x5 inches. But then again, the coon might try and reach into the box with his hands reaching for the bait because of the small 5x5 opening, and just "Snap" the Conibear with his hands which would be pretty easy for a coon to pull free from? Maybe someone would trade you 220's for your 5x5's unless that won't work in Ohio?

You Sir are absolutely correct on the 5-inch x 5-inch limit on the inside trap measurement for the State of Ohio on Land sets. That would include 110-120's on land (4.5 x 4.5 inches). Conibear style traps with an inside jaw opening of more than 5 inches, but less than 7 inches can only be used in a "natural" waterway (220's). And Conibears over 7 inches (330) must be completely submerged in water and ONLY used during Beaver and River Otter seasons. We've got some awfully Large coons here in Minnesota and I think they'd have a Hard time getting their Head into a 155? 110-120 Conibears....Unlikely? And the 155's are only 1/2 inch larger than a 110-120 Conibear. I would use those 155's in dens, burrows, tiles or culverts? Legal in Ohio for 155's. Otherwise "Blind" trail sets with NO Bait! Make sure you "stake" them securely! Those 155's would be "Killer" for Muskrats through the ice. 5 Muskrats are about equivalent to a coon nowadays, pricewise lately, anyhow? Why deal with a greasy, nasty coon hide when you could be dealing with those cute little prime, easy, through the ice Muskrats?
