The wife has always liked upside down pineapple cake for Christmas. So I thought I might as well get some pineapple and have that over with. I don't know where I've been but apparently there has been a pineapple shortage in the different countries that raise them and they have failed due to extreme weather conditions in what ever country that raises them. No doubt global warming and climate change, lol. Well I went to Walmart and not a can of pineapple and to the only other grocery in town and none.
I did save the day though I bought her 5 nice big juicy cucumbers so she could make her favorite salad. Then today they recalled them from Walmart because the Mexico cucumbers has salmonella in them. So if we can get past the bad carrots and onions and bad meat we won't starve. But it looking more like homemade everything is looking better all the time. Now just 5 months til we can get some seed in the ground, lol. As far as the pineapple, like the little fox said, they was probably sour grapes anyway !

I haven’t heard about the pineapple, that sucks about the cucumber, I heard the USDA stopped the importing of Mexican cattle for some disease.

if you can't get pineapples use apricots I liked it better back when I ate sugary stuff.

The fresh pineapple at Walmart here was on sale for 50 cents for a few days about a month ago. And they have been a buck a peice since then. And they have been good pineapples too. I haven't looked for any in a can.

United we stand.
