claycreech trapper C Joined: Aug 2008 Sumner, Mo.	Season opener is on a Monday? Missouri has opened our spring turkey season on a Monday for 65 years. Theory was that it would spread out pressure throughout the season. But we always open our gun deer on a Saturday lol.

Also remember when we didn't have any deer in my part of the state.

Only ran into one guy toughing it out to the end sitting at a fork in the line. He didn’t mind me bombing by, said I might chase something his way. Told him not to worry, there’s just wolves here….lol. He agreed. Wind Blew, crap flew, out came the line crew

uplandpointer trapper U Joined: Feb 2009 East Central Mn.	I have the same feelings about Grouse hunting.Will get to it again now that deer season ended an hour or so ago. hopefully the snow doesn't get to deep for a few weeks. then it's time to hang some cable. Good luck everyone!
