Found this at my parents. Dad used to use it all the time. It electrocuted the hotdogs!!

Never seen one before. What vintage is it?

Had one like that, or similar. mid 70s or early 80s.

Ha. Dont remember those things. Born in 78. But i do remember making one of those hot dog cookers in 5th grade science class with nails and alkaline batteries.

Just about wore one of them things out back in the mid-1970's.

We had one.
It was a finger sized electric chair.
And if you touched the left and right contacts it would give quite a jolt.
Never liked the smell of the electrocuted weenies.

My grandfather patented that type of device back in the 30,40's...never made a dime on it, lol

Ours was a white bottom with the lid rimmed in red. A cheap but effective unit. Microwaves were just starting to show up in kitchens and they were expensive. The hot dog ends used to get blown up a bit if you left it on too long.
