At least seven hours, but I do toss and turn from back pain or get woken up for snoring. But I fall RIGHT back to sleep.
I’m finding that my internal clock is waking me up earlier these days. Which is nice because I don’t like to miss beautiful mornings.

some things to try for sleeping better

kill the sugar.
no coffee/caffeine 8 hours before bed
get outside and get work in , firewood , hunting , at least a walk. something to get some physical movement in.
eat 2 hours or more before you need to sleep and don't over eat.
no tv or screens for 90 minutes before bed. screens keep your mind going and processing moving and blue light.
schedule 8 hours with a 90 minute wind down.
at that 90 minutes reduce to a lamp , music calm music , fire
keep a note pad handy for thoughts that pop into your head , if you write them down they don't have to occupy space in your thought all night.

if you sleep with a partner , try a few nights without them.
separate beds can make a difference if you keep each other up or she moves and rolls and that keeps waking you up.
my wife and I sleep better in separate beds

My God that's a lot to do and, not do for 8 good hours of sleep.

I've alway slept well, but my poor little wife sometimes suffers insomnia to which a CBD tincture has her sleeping well within 5-10 minutes without fail. Wakes up well rested. The tincture I make was with CBD bud that tested at 15-18% CBD

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Carl's CBD tincture worked for us too.

I can legally grow marijuana in Ohio, which I have no interest in growing, but I can't legally grow hemp, without paying a fortune in permit fees, getting an FBI and a BCI background check, getting frequent inspections and growing at least 10,000 plants. The legal reason I can't just grow hemp is because it's similar in appearance to marijuana, which used to be illegal, but now is legal to grow for adults, with no license or fees. Bureaucratic stupidity at it's worst.

I still have several hundred lbs of CBD bud that is practically worthless on the glutted market. I guess that will last me several lifetimes.

Crazy…… I was fighting to grow it for textiles in the late 80s ,,,,,,without any luck.
Cotton lodiest were fighting that one.

It's $49.99 to buy 20 CBD gummies at the Vape Shop Diane goes too. Ohio is going to make it illegal to sell CBD at Vape Shops, once their existing stock is sold. You will have to go to a Marijuana dispensary, even though they contain virtually no THC.

Well here I sit at 0215. It's like this every night. Usually sleep 90 minutes to 4 hours total each night. Been that way since 1967. The last time I slept through the night was September 30,1981.

For many years I have referred to my bed as the "jaws of death". I hate it when bed time rolls around

I also struggled with sleep 4 - 6 hrs a night at best , after talking with a friend of mine he suggested that I do a sleep study at the hospital which I did .

Come to find out I've got severe sleep apnea and now a CPAP machine is my friend !

I now get 8+ hrs of sleep and feel much better because of it !

For whatever reason I also sleep better in a recliner but I'm working my way back to a bed .

I still have bathroom breaks each night but I fall asleep again quickly afterwards .

You're friend along the snare line .

Charlie

That's me too.
I go to bed at 11:00PM. Set the alarm for 5:00AM. But, always am awake before it ever goes off.

It's been months since I bought the book, "How To Scam People On Line". It still hasn't arrived yet.

i like my routines. Been heading to bed about 9:00 PM for forty-plus years, read for 30-60 minutes and sleeping by 10:00. Up without an alarm at about 5:45 AM.

I get cranky if my routine is disrupted. A solid 7-8 hours every night.

Eh...wot?
