No. No. No. It takes patience and great skill to get it symmetrically plump and uniformly golden brown all over. If you don't get it the right distance from the coals and rotate it at the right speed it wont brown uniformly, or it gets loose on the stick and wont rotate any more. It's a fine art.
Properly eating it requires one of two methods. One - put it between two graham crackers that have been warmed on a hot rock enough to melt the chocolate on top. Or two - gently hold it without crushing it and suck the guts out of it, then eat the golden brown shell.
United we stand.

Burn outside.
Peel that off and eat.
Repeat until you're down to stick.
My wife will even burn the little bit of stuff left on the stick then take a small piece of bread, graham cracker or what-have-you scrape the stick and eat that.

Evenly browned so the middle is mush….. why would you go thru the process of burning the outside only to have a cold hard center. Waste of time, the goosh is where it’s at!!

Some dark hearted trappers in hear eating burnt marshmallows like that. Probably poor sand on kids lolypops, kick their trykes in the ditch and bite their puppies too.
United we stand.

I’ve kind of outgrown marshmallows but venison should be rare
