Macthediver OP trapper Joined: Dec 2006 La Crosse, WI	My son shot a doe last Saturday and it has hoof damage like I have never seen. We have seen the deer with what they call slippery foot. My son shot a doe years ago with crazy long slippery foot hoofs. This does hooves look like they got broken off. I'm wondering if it's because the area we hunt has been very wet. Then this last week the ground froze pretty hard. Wondering if maybe being chased around by hunters. Soft hooves on frozen ground caused this breakage?? Anyone else ever seen this or have thoughts on it. These are the rear feet but the front hooves had same damage. Two other deer we shot had nothing like this. Mac "Never Forget Which Way Is Up"
