Had the opportunity to photograph a very inquisitive grouse while setting coyote traps. Nobody must have told him that hunting season was on.

Beautiful!!! I have seen more sharps this year than I ever have for many, many years. I have a spot where they are at just about all the time I go there. It is on the top of a high hill and flat right on top. They dance and talk, and it is there home. I always find it interesting!!

I’ve heard that from several guys who were hunting across MT that numbers were crazy high this year. They also reported numbers of Hungarian partridge which I find pretty cool.
