I just saw an advertisement for “ where the red fern grows “ and it took me back to when I first read it. There truly has not been a movie adaptation, in my opinion, that does it justice. It’s only second, in my opinion, as one of the best stories ever written. The Bible is first. Do you guys have a favorite book?
Stand by your principles, Stand by your guns, and victory complete and permanent is sure at last. Abraham Lincoln

"The Old Man and the Boy" by Robert Ruark is probably my all-time favorite.

"The Old Man and the Boy" by Robert Ruark is probably my all-time favorite. Yup, I reread it every 5-10 years. Older I get, the more it resonates with me. Sequel too.
