^^^^^^^^ For the most part this kind of food keeps you lean. Grilled vegetables, ribeye, lambcicles, etc.. This event is called getting invited over to the neighbors for "tea", happens at least twice a week. By the time Christmas gets here it will be nearly a daily occurrence. I have the best neighbors.

wow! Nice spread! Went out tonight and would not rate meal high. I have a really hard time eating out any more. when I can get a big steak for 20-25 dollars that will feed 4 and I can cook it exactly how I want it with no one saying it's too rare I can wash it down with beer at around a buck a bottle not 4-5 with all the disappointing meals I have eaten out , just easier to get a big steak and slap it on the grill.

I had a ribeye and a beer. Some salt added to the steak. My wife is gone for a couple days and that is what is for supper tonight, tomorrow and the next night. Although I may have two beers to change it up before it is over.

last night was about 4 pounds they are typically around 4 1/2 technically it gets called a roast but I treat it like a steak they call it an arm roast , you would probably be more familiar with the cut right above it the chuck roast the chuck is where the scapula is , the arm is lower than that where the bone is round I understand this is not considered a good cut of meat , I have a place that must age their beef because these roasts are very good and I am paying 5.39 a pound , steak for darn close to hamburger prices. grill pre heated to high , it is a weber genesis B salt and pepper 6 minutes flip 6 minutes get it on a cutting board setting in a jelly roll pan so that it catches the juices. 12 minutes later perfection the wife can have the medium to medium rare stuff around the edges and I can have the good stuff in the middle like this.

Last beef I had killed had the Amish slice the chuck roast into 3/4 inch steaks. OMG! Some of the best grilling steaks ever.
