Anyone on this forum trap in Massachusetts or Boston area........know whats going on with coyote attacks....and why they're not trapped and controlled....

Here is a list of traps that are prohibited in MASS. This probably has a lot to do with the lack of trapping coyotes.
Prohibited traps Steel-jaw foothold traps, padded jaw traps, body-gripping (Conibear) traps, snares, deadfalls, colony traps (traps designed to take more than one mammal at a time), and any traps other than those specified above are prohibited. Such traps may not be set, tended, used, or possessed in the field.

What are CRD ?........I'm not a trapper ........only try to control critters and coyote on farm

CRD = Cable Restraint Device, Like a snare, only it relaxes when the strain is removed from it, no choking.
