With such a decline in the elk population, was there any season at all? I know some of my friends from MN said it wasn't even possible to get an elk license in the area they always hunt. The outfitter we usually hunted with said with the few elk that are left it's doubtful many licenses will be issued. Adding wolves to the situation is stupid.
It's been months since I bought the book, "How To Scam People On Line". It still hasn't arrived yet.

Adding wolves reduces the need for hunters, exactly what the anti's want.

The saddest thing about all of this to me is that this so called species restoration is really an introduction of a non-native apex predator (moose killers), the wolves that were eradicated throughout the American West were a smaller animal that made its living following the buffalo herds pre-settlement. Much like coyote operate in cow country today. Sure the y were still predators, but they lacked the ability to do what has been witnessed wherever the big northern timbers have been introduced. It's all about replacing hunters with "Natural" predators. How much of the annual surplus production of game species in Alaska is reserved for native predators. That is the planned future for hunting in much of America. Good post

Google Marlon Reis and you'll see who our Governor listens to regarding wildlife/hunting issues. He's replaced every landowner, outfitter, biologist, and retired wildlife officer on the Wildlife Commission with Greenies from Boulder.

gee you would think a president elect who values voters that hunt and not trade with Canada could shut down an invasive species crossing the border in a plane or truck.
say in a month and 10 days , maybe you should write him.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

But you already have wolves? Yep, and they lose a few every year when they cross over into Wyoming. Maybe they should first ask themselves, Why are they leaving? Or why aren’t they entering Colorado?
