I have had good luck with it on marten & wolverine. I also used the dirt from the packaging and caught a couple reds although they showed an inclination to roll.
The packaging was just as potent as the product !!
Good stuff IMO ! I'm planning on using it for wolverine

How would the smell not be contained to the jar?
I hear this complaint often on tman. It has to be something in the packaging process. The only stinky lures I have ordered,,, were from Bobby J and Ace when he was alive..... No smell problem until opened.....

I'm no stinkoligist, but I'm guessing science. Something in the essence is smaller in particle size than something in the lid (paper or plastic) or glass. Same reason nitrogen infused beers like Guinness can't be carbonated in a glass jar. The nitrogen escapes through the glass and it goes flat. Probably the same reason skunky lures that sit in jars on the shelf for a few years lose some of their punch. Sealed mylar bags seems to keep the skunk contained. As does the metal ammo can I keep my skunky lures in.

The blood molecule is smaller than the "holes" between the plastic molecules. Just like the molecules of flatulence can pass through various layers of different materials.

I've gotten away from using dirt to package the skunky lures. I use a mylar bag inside another mylar bag. It seems to hold down the odor nicely. I have a box with three bottles of skunky Backbreaker in it right now on the table in the house, and Rhonda hasn't said a thing. That tells me the bags are doing the trick.

It's been a couple of years since we've used the dishwasher. We just do the dishes by manually. I can't afford to put it in there, because I'll forget where I put it, and it needs to be shipped tomorrow. I could write a note reminding me where I put it, but then I'd have to remember where the note is.
