Nice pictures, you must have hunted hard even to see them, more or less to get the photos. Were you carrying a rifle too? Is this along with a deer hunt?......jk

Nice, you were close to my area,if your still in the area head over to the Pitt grade,Bankton trail and the Rapid river country you should run into some moose.

Thanks for the info Rick, I’m back home now but I’m pretty sure I will make another trip up there sometime in the future. When I do I will probably get ahold of you to pick your brain.

Came really close to wolves twice but was too dark to see them.

No it was strictly a photography trip. Great Gray owls were the target and everything else was just icing on the cake.

Camera is a Nikon D500, lens is a Sigma 150-600.

What focal length were you at for the shots? You couldnt have been very close.

Between 5-600 mm, most of those shots are between 40-60 yards and usually cropped and zoomed and little afterwards.
Big reach is really needed in wildlife photography.
