2 years of drought then abnormal wet June conditions made a poor reproduction with vole season. We did not get snow till lately so hard for what red backs there was had a hard time. As well little mycillia production for 2 years of drought = red back vole food source. Rough legged halks moved through in 2 weeks with no meadow voles around I have not talked to the GGO bander of some of the weights of his birds he has gotten this fall. Have picked up 2 DOR's of GGO's this fall, (under a salvage permit for lice)

Great Grays nest in Minnesota, I think most of the birds I saw were locals. Boreal and Hawk Owls are migrating down in what is supposed to be an irruption year for them, not sure what causes that. Reports are banders are catching them in high numbers along the N shore of Lake Superior but they haven’t made it into Minnesota in numbers yet. I’ll PM you the location

Those are great photos, thanks for posting them!
Got a photo from a speeding camera in the mail. I immediately sent it back - way too expensive and really poor quality.

Outstanding pictures, thanks for posting.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.
