I remember. I used to buy (OK, mom bought them but they came from me) a carton of Winston for my dad. Before that, he smoked Chesterfield.

When I was in the insurance business some of the body shops and glass companies would drop off bottles of booze which I always gave away. Beer was my go to drink.
Now, that's changed. They drop off candy, cheese trays, or cookies. Much better choices. Times change for the better.

My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

if a carton of cigarettes' was still 3 bucks I would still be smoking.

Our family doctor had a Cadillac convertible with a bumper sticker that said Enjoy Smoking. He died of lung cancer.

I believe pure tobacco is safe. It's all the chemicals added that will kill ya. I remember getting cigarettes for my mom out of a machine as a kid. No i.d required. LoL

I purchased a cigarette machine at a auction sale 30 yrs ago for 2.00. It had lots of packs of cigarette in it. I bought it hoping for silver coins. I remember it setting out side of the old steak house for a few yrs before I bought it. I got my money back in change. But there was no silver coins in it. I should have kept the cigarette and machine, but I had no reason to.
