A good lesson for beginning coyote trappers, which took me awhile to learn! The high point of this crop change has produced canines every year. Three coyotes and two fox this year. A tall weed with some call lure helps. Other benefits include no skunks, opossum, or coons. Plus no pheasant hunters. Also, look for long fence lines which connect several fields. These travel ways are a great way to pick up some canines. This High point is also great during snow storms as it generally blows off. Also dries fast during rain events. Be on the look out for these not so hidden gems!

Great visual. Took me a few years before I realized the benefits of crop changes. And the high point makes a lot of sense, I feel the same way about a lone tree/bush in the middle of an otherwise empty field but crop changes are great.
