Long story short relief Captain decided to put some diesel in the new paint sprayer ( one of those little electric home projects ones) to clean it.... When I was in auto body I was told it was a old school deal ...but to never do it especially with newer machines. I emptied it all out and have it circulating war soapy after right now .... What's the chance this thing might be messed up now. ?

It should be OK as long as you get all the diesel residue out.

If spraying, oil-based paints, I usually clean with denatured alcohol or acetone. For latex paint just soapy water.

Eh...wot?

So got it cleaned out, lotta soapy water then thinner for a hour or so.and also learned...don't tell someone with a powder tripping problem that they could have damaged some equipment and expect them to stay professional tired
