These town beavers sure are messy. They leave solo cups, toys, styrafoam containers and all kinds of nasty debris. They're such litter bugs. This is a dam in town that I'm currently working.

They ought to be pretty good sized after they been drinking all that soda and eating all the junk food based on the wrappers in that dam.

Trapping in town for a HOA right now...pulled some debris out the other day... a shopping cart of all things plus all those other goodies like in Paul's picture. Now exactly where that shopping cart came from I have no idea as there isn't a store of any type around.

I still have a contract with the city. I've had it for 32 years. I retired from the big timber company contract after 30 years with them.

I'm almost done with it. Picked up 4 yearlings in lured snares. Adults wanted nothing to do with those sets. I made my way to the dam and made a dam break set. Picked up an adult female in it today. I hope to be done tomorrow.

I got several that are floating garbage dumps. Best one is below a chicken processing plant and waste water station with several crap ponds they dump their septic tank trucks in, lovely odors, lol. Had to get nutria out of the crap ponds a few years ago, crappy job to say the least, lol.

Interesting-any theory as to why the adults avoided those sets? Seems like lured "pole" snare sets work well at remote ponds.

Caught this morning at a trashy beaver dam inside city limits...Been snaring some mink on the top of the dam, but there was one really good location where a snare wasn't ideal, so set a Duke 1.5 and found ole' reynard drowned at the end of the slide wire.

Just something about beaver dams, they sure are fur magnets.
