we turned our holidays over to our kids. told them it was their time. youngest did thanksgiving this year and oldest is doing xmas. i do still bring the meat. i like cooking it.

I’m speaking of a time when we were kids and didn’t have the choice. I’m learning as I get older and my physical flexibility decreases my flexibility on decisions increases. lol

For years I hated holidays cause everyone want at their place on Christmas Day. Spread it out make it easier on everyone. It's not about a date, heck Christ was probably born in September anyway. And almost none of our celebrations have anything to do with anything scriptural. Get together with family don't make it stressful.
