Anyone get sets out today?

Put a few out at my property in 1b. No tracks. Lots of grey and red fox tracks so i set for them in hopes a fisher lobs through before it gets warm next week.

The cold keeps the coon and possums out of your sets when it's frigid out

Hardest part it seems is bedding well while trying to keep then working when the ground is warm but below freezing temps. At least for me anyway.

Salt is my answer to that problem

Ruin't myself today getting sets in. Lots of walk in sets. Forgot how much I hate making sets in the mountains here. Every swing hits a dang rock, get bed in and try to drive stake and hit solid rock. Move set, can't get bed in cause hit softball size rock to dig out of bed. Lather, rinse, repeat. other spots it was roots stopping stakes or in the bed. Could have got 3x as many sets in out in the fields. No fisher or cat sign in the day old snow, but like you lots of fox sign. No coyote sign either.

Would love to put leaning pole 220 sets in!

Fisher can adapt to all terrains from forests to farmland and anything in between.

Leaning pole ...45 degree angle or steeper ..and a 160 is my go to

My favorite fisher set but with either 120,155,or 160.....SADLY NO LONGER LEGAL

Here in PA body grips have to be in a box with the trap recessed 7" to the trigger
And the opening can be no larger than 50 square inches
And a 160 or smaller, if I remember correctly

I thought you was allowed to use conibears for bobcat in boxes on the ground?

Can't you put a chunk of muskrat in the box for mink in an area where there is fisher?
