That pic was back from 2012 when otters were worth going after. I don't remember how many sets I had but I doubt it was more than 20-24. They were all toilet sets and 90% of them were males.

You Should do a Thread on what your "toilet set" looks like all set up!!!

I remember those 1500-2000 dollar trap check days,in my case it was usually marten cats otter mixed bag.
Was that big otter catch on a 2-3 day check?
Regardless out of 24 traps that is a fantastic percentage especially for otter.

Boco, that catch was from three different coastal rivers on a 48 hour check. It so happened that a friend had wanted to see what an otter line looked like and I broke my previous catch record that day!

330, I once upon a time wrote an article on trapping otters off of toilets for the Trapper Predator Caller magazine. I believe it was published in November of 2006. (Even had pics)!

I got a very nice letter from the editor of Fur Fish & Game afterwards inviting me to submit articles for their magazine. Never did though.

That pile of otter (75+) was back in 2011 or 2012.

24 hr check here in Georgia. Took me 2 months to catch them.

Best day was 7. Best week was 37.

I'm not as efficient as Beaverpeeler.
