I have 3 younger brothers. The youngest one turned 70 today. Wife hit 70 a couple months ago. I am surrounded by old people. I stopped at 39, but I am an older 39 than I used to be. Grandkids running around make me think I should have stopped at 29 instead of 39.

At 78 Daniel Boone was still trapping beaver up in the headwaters of the Missouri. All by himself!

..... Wonder if he was feeling old?

At 67 I still feel pretty good, can out-hike most 20 year olds on rough terrain, although they would kill me in a foot race.
I keep waiting for "the other shoe to drop", I expect it will catch up to me all at once. The only thing that feels old is the lower back, but I can usually shake that off with activity.

I'm still setting 330's by hand at 67. Beaver are noticeably heavier than when I was 20 something though.

At 62 the pains, aches and breaks are adding up. But, I feel fortunate to feel as good as I do, and to have the "want-to" to keep moving.
