Lots a way to dry gloves on woodstove but looking for any unique holder or option/ideas for over top of stove to dry them. I use a piece of mesh expanded metal with wire legs that is raised up above stove 6 inches or so.

I've got a wood stove in my trailer I use for winter camping/hunting. I have a piece of flat steel with six legs welded to it bolted to the wall a couple feet above the wood stove. The legs are made out of 1/4 or 3/8" steel rod. They come out 90 degrees from the wall 3'4" and then are bent up about 70 degrees and are about 8-10" long from the bend. You slide gloves and boot liners down over the rods and they hold them upright with the open end down so the heat rises into the inside and it works really well for drying without any worries about getting them too hot and melting or burning them.

I run a wire about 3 feet above the stove.I have a couple wire baskets I can hang from the wire and slide close(over the stove) or a ways away from the stove. Can dry insoles, boot liners mitts and gloves socks etc like a clothes line.
If you double up some wire and run it above the horizontal pipe its good for making jerky/dry meat on the go.

The white wire shelving you can order from any box store works good. The paint flakes off if you put it too close

Tall Soup cans with tops and bottoms opened
Slide the can inside your glove then stand the cannon the wood stove. Don’t do this with some glove materials but it works with leather well. Heat gets up inside the can to dry out the fingers and palm areas.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
