Ok....then wire that box to a leaning pole ..5 feet of the ground ...guarded with a 160... Near a stream.

Killah Fisher set...baited with a beaver hind 1/4 and some pure quill on a rag

Above the set

No fisher or even tracks yet. Unfortunately didnt connect on any fox either. That was a bummer since saw no less than 3 or 4 fresh tracks, some near my sets. So i put out 2 more in spots that had activity two nights in a row.

Tomorrow? Maybe. Since i picked that day to devote to annual sausage making.

And say you have 3 fisher in 160's on your next check...

Does Fish & Game take the extras ???

I’ve caught two fisher in conibears here in Pa. One was in a cubby box, with a 160. It was set along a creek, for coon. It was fisher season also.

The other, I’m still scratching my head over it. Caught it in a 330 , in a large creek.. It was guarding a castor mound for beaver. It went through the trap from the land side. Fortunately, it was also caught in the overlapping fisher- beaver season.

Congratulations Claypool, it looks like a nice. That would be a nice Christmas present.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Thanks for the pic flip. I was in a hurry to go out and put him up. Ended up catching in a bridger 1.65 set in front of a walk through box baited with a muskrat hind and a little gusto inside and above the set. Had one go within 15 yards the night before and he never broke stride. Also narrowing missed one in a blind set same night. Removed most of my sets today to avoid another. This is north eastern crawford county. Filthy with them. Wish we could go to a bag limit so we could keep sets out.
