Sorry to hear that. But I'm so glad I never got on that site. Like TikTok there are too many clowns on it.

Mine was hacked a few years ago. I figured they wanted it more than I did so I let them have it. Tough deal for a business to get molested by these sons of motherless goats. May they smoke a wet turd in Hades!

And FB didn't help me when mine was stolen.

I started a new one...To sell on marketplace

Sorry to hear that.I have never had a problem on facebook.

That sucks for a business. I hate facebook and fortunately have never had mine tampered with. I would drop it today if it wasn't an important part of why my sponsors pay me. With more than 10,000 followers it would be a mess for me if it was stolen. Hope you get it figured out.

So isn't there anyway to protect the site?

A good strong password thats very hard to figure out.

greater than 12 charters 16-20 is great a mix of letters capitol and lower case , numbers , and symbols minimum 3 capitols 3 numbers and 2 symbols
write it down make notations what you capitalize and only use that password for one thing and change it every 6 months
you get a note book full but it is about as good as it gets.

Diane had her Facebook account stolen and was able to get it back. It took 4 attempts and a little over a year, in part because she waited a long time between the third and fourth attempt. It took a couple of hours of phone time with several Facebook operators. I recommend calling Facebook immediately. None of the online options for recovery worked.
