When I worked at Ford, Ford owned 30% of Mazda and built their trucks for them (Mazda never built a truck... it was a Ford with Mazda stickers). They owned portions of other car companies as well. So did GM, Honda, Toyota and Chrystler. I get a total merge is different....but is it?
