I like to pick up old traps when I see them at yard sales and auctions and starting to feel like I've begun a collection. I would appreciate any advice, being a super novice in old traps, on starting a collection. Interested to hear how folks focus their collection, do's and dont's when it comes to buying traps for your collection and how one determines a value of a trap when you have a chance to buy one. Any suggested books or resources?

North America Trap Collectors Assoc. used to be a good source . My last directory was 2008 so I don't know about current. A couple of cheap guides by Robert Vance will give you a start.
