Guess I'm odd one out on this?? Maybe it's the saying common part I'm lost on. Lots of food is regional.. I have told all my doctors that bother to ask. That I eat like a rat. What I want, when I want and depends on what is available. There are things I don't care for. But I have always kind of gone with the try anything once thing. I don't like things that are really spicy hot. Also don't care much for things taste really flowery as I call it.
One thing that is a holiday item around here I haven't tried is Lutefisk. One of those things I can't get past the stink. My brother in-law and my son both having been meat cutters. Would this time of year cut and wrap 100s lbs of that stuff. The juice would drip off the cutting table on the floor and their boots. Boots stunk so bad had to take them off and leave them on front steps. The dogs loved licking them stinking boots though. Probably make good coon bait.
So I guess for me it would be the lutefisk never eaten.
Can't say at some point I wouldn't try it. Might get the double dog dare thing.

Roman noodles is another I see people say they like, never tried it.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Spam. If I ever tried it I don't remember. I am always looking for something new to try. I just had borscht for the first time and loved it. I can't do spicy though not even what most people would call mild.
