I’ve seen empty traps but this is nuts. Set on coyote tracks/poop but since the cold set in have nothing. I was thinking sign was less than usual but what are you LP trappers seeing for coyote sign? Can’t believe coyotes are not moving at least a section per night unless parvo hit in the thumb too?

Set a line on Sunday. There was a group of 4 or 5 that had come through the night prior, but haven’t seen a track since.

Welcome to trapping in December, probably my toughest month.

POSSIBLY, way too much deer leftovers for them to feed on .....that is common around here after deer season.

With this extended doe season I imagine it’ll extend the issue of deer leftovers. People still shooting and reporting a decent number of deer as of yesterday. State is closing in on same harvest as last year according to DNR app, so the gut piled and wounded deer will continue to feed them for a bit
