My Tacomas always ended up on their roofs in the winter time You were doing it wrong, Bruce.  3 times in the winter time,once by school bus while in Virginia, and once by a logging truck.....figured it was time to get away from toyotas

You are looking at the situation from the wrong angle You made a judgement error and became temporarily immobilized. BUT, you were capable of assessing the situation, devising a strategy and remobilizing yourself  So hold your head up and be proud that you got yourself out of a bind even though you could have pulled the "I'm a girl" card and asked for help and nobody would have thought any less of you  That’s why I didn’t call my husband to bring out the quad and the winch. Not five minutes from the house but I wanted to try and do this myself.

My wife got stuck last night! What a coincidence! Hahaha! ROL! Get yourself some kinda 4x4 smasho. I don’t know why they even make 2WD any more…maybe for hauling leaves to the dump?…lol

You aint much of a trapper if you dont get stuck once in awhile. no matter the vehicle, own two legs, horse back, dog team, argo, snomobile, 4wd pickup, 4wd suv, atv, side by side, even in a boat. it dont matter. if you dont occasionally get stuck you aint getting out much.

lol....best truck I have ever owned.2 years now and not a single thing replaced. that is some grade A Mopar Jeep gaslighting you shouldn't have to replace anything but fluids and maybe tires and brakes till you have the payments all made and that would if you put ont he miles.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

You need to get a 4 wheel drive or stay on the road berm and get a trailor and an ATV to get around. Two wheel drive just isn't going to cut it for you. Yeah this truck isn’t gonna be in my life for much longer. I’ll just walk in from now on like JByrd said unless the ground is frozen solid even when frozen its easy to think your good and bust through the solid layer. OR DRIVE in to a spot just fine but com out to find the sun thawed things out and the truck sunk while your gone. More of a longer while your hunting or fishing time vs just checking a short line of traps but it happens in places it doesn't get cold and stay cold. 2wd suck can't even pull off the side of the road without the likelihood of getting stuck. sadly driving a 2wd now.

The use of "Xmas" as an abbreviation for "Christmas" has been around since at least 1021, and it became widely used by the 15th century So really not a slight on Christ

You're lucky you just got stuck. Yesterday I was resetting a 330 and snapped it on my thumb and 2 fingers. I was a mile from the truck alone with the setters on the bank. The trap was tied to a tree and I had nothing to cut the cable with. It's amazing how much strength you can muster when you panic. Merry Christmas ya'll. OUCH! Even the little 110’s are fierce. I can’t imagine .. I caught myself in #11 longsprings and I haven’t really messed with them since
