Wake up at 4:45, check them, and be back home before the kids wake up. Really no different from any other day for me as far as checking goes.

Even had a couple presents for me yesterday

Depends on the year. Weather usually has usually been terrible around Christmas thanks to beaver season here opening in the 26th.
