First of all thanks for reading! Our fisher season goes out in a few days and i would like to to a lost minute crack at catching one I’m going to build a cubby in a few locations I’ve had them on camera what would be a good choice for bait and also I don’t have time to get fisher lire but I do have some beaver lure will this work?

Beaver is best for bait..Muskrat and any meat scrapes will also work.Anything with beaver caster will also work for lure.skunk up high will help bring fisher in as well.

Beaver Caster will work fine, good choice. The important thing here in Pa is location, anything will attract them, don't worry about your scent too much and with our short season it is best to use two traps at each location. One set normally and the other close by. You don't want to miss them the first times the come to a set. Good luck, or I should say lots of luck......jk

Beaver pieces for bait, castor will work. I've caught them on sardines.Cedar swamps or stone walls good locations.

Find a fisher. Bring them towards set with scent. Skunk, beaver castor anything strong in the cold. Almost anything will work for bait. Beaver, venison, rabbit or grouse carcass etc. I've caught 2 in cubbies baited with zucchini muffins for coon. Location and patience are key.

Wire a beaver carcass to a tree about 2 feet from the ground and in a location where there is good overhead cover and where there is also lots of small balsam browse (where rabbits and grouse use). Make several baited sets 20 feet from the carcass.
You wont need lure but if you use lure place it a foot from the ground not high up in the tree.
