My johnboat and traps were stolen today . I went today to set rat traps and my boat and traps were gone , I went half mile down the creek to a friend , who lent me a john boat to paddle back up the creek and found nothing . Called DNR and met with them and the land owner , In the meantime my son put it out on facebook and recived a video of two young guys towing my boat out the creek.. Dnr has the video now . Mabe someone will come foward. The biggest thing is I really wanted to trap some rats .

From the time the video was taken until i got to the creek i was about a half hour late.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I've found my boat pulling out of the slip without me a time or two, but it always comes home full of gas (we SE island rats call that "borrowing" lol). But I'm assuming you don't know these individuals, so that's really (this word is not allowed on Trapperman) that they did that. I hope you find everything and the law finds them.

I recall going hunting one morning to find someone had stolen my loc-on stand and a climber. I have never been so angry. I know who took them also.

Do you, the game warden, or whoever took the video, know them? I hope you get everything back and the two thieves get to eat oatmeal and baloney for 6 months in the county jail.

The video was taken by a resident on the creek with his cell phone. The two guys in it have cameo on . Their boat was smaller than mine with a hand tiller motor . Dnr called me a while ago and found the registeration and hull number of my boat on their computer . The boat that did the theft is a uneak style boat , I have a few friends that do a lot of boating in the ares that are looking at the video . Mabe Someone will come through for me . I have lots of people looking . Im going to local boat ramps in the morning to look .

It was in the creek at the end of the STmartins river on the Bunting property. Just north of piney island and the bishopville prong.
