will your generator run your fridges and freezers? one at a time works. just dont open them very often. get out a days worth of groceries, put it in a cooler, run your freezers fridge each for an hour or so every morning. I hate a multiple day power outage. we modern folks are just too soft i guess. i have coleman lanterns and plenty of white gas. generator is a four stroke. i could run it on white gas if i had too. needs an oil change and started. been a year i suppose. i turn the gas off and run it till it dies. drain the tank. has worked so far.

Nah just one of those little 2 stroke tail gating deals. Enough to charge a phone run a few tools , a fan , a few lights we have on tripods . It's weird ,grew up not having anything to run the fridge or freezer if the lights went out I don't even think of it as a problem. Whole bottom is lined with frozen water bottles and got a bags of ice on the sides and like poper goes out throw a few blanks on it and about everything will keep for a week or so.dont keep a ton in the fridge actually. Usually just water was gonna get cooked that day condiments, left over and drinks. Funny story actually was on the boat two hitches ago and the fridge and main freezer went out , at the same time weird enough, the two guys from Texas and the other from Arkansas where freaking out and me and the pilot ( where about three hours away from one another) where just moving stuff to coolers and the mini fridge like it was nothing. Told em this thy of stuff happens to use a few times a year during hurricane season and we don't see the big issue especially since we had a ice maker still working

We invested in a Generac hooked up to natural gas this fall. Power was off for hours last night. The Generac came on and ran everything in the house. Great piece of mind since my son's family are visiting and the granddaughters were warm and cozy.
United we stand.

Well storm rolled though knocked the power out , don't seem nothing too out the normal buuut since my lil generator don't seem to wanna work ( seriously test the dang thing monthly and was doing just fine ) it's arst in crafts time... Pretty neat what you can do with some kinda wick ,oil and a container. This case paper towel coconut oil and a mason jar That's called a "Molotov cocktail". It's a felony if you throw it I think.

Those generacs are pretty slick. There’s a rich guy in town on a feeder that rarly even sees a bump. He’s got one connected to his gas service, doesn’t even have to top the fuel up…….but that thing will rarely be running. His feeder also has the hospital and fuel stations on it, it’d be the first to get back on in any event. Hospital because it’s a critical customer & fuel stations to keep our trucks mobile.

Hooked directly to the natural gas line coming into the house.
