They're on bloody crack! Are they powering an industrial smelter?...LOL. Some of our diesel generators that power northern communities are better than that. If it was that much, we'd be punching in transmission line to them. A small system is all you really need.

not a lot of light from that
the burner on your gas stove might give off more light

LED head lamps that charge off USBC and go to sleep when it gets dark

for a steady light that lasts a long time on the cheap , for a little navigation , if you require it , Saints Candles any mexican grocery section will have a selection of them. they are int he glass tubes.

but LED head lamps don't have hardly any fire risk

my wife wanted a bed side flash light after a power outage this fall one that was hers and never got borrowed or moved had some what specific it had to not be metal , be simple to operate just on off, and of a reasonable size and no blind you bright just good navigation down the stairs and around the house.

well it was a touch smaller than she wanted but I got her one of these and put some tarred bank line on it to hang it and make a wrist strap.

only 67 lumens but 155 hours of run time on 4AA batteries , I use rechargeable
hard to argue wit 6 days of run time
so if you use it 4 hours a day in a power outage situation that would come out to 38 days if use on a set of 4AA

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

ice storms get our power also every decade or so.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Wolfdog.....

Just a thought, but if you didn't spend so much money on wierd calibers and gun parts, maybe you could fix the things in your house for your wife and the kids that will no doubt follow.

Not being judgemental, but smell the coffee man.

A dry and warm shelter is Important in a marriage.

Good luck.
