Hey Bob. Sorry to hear it, man. I've been diagnosed with MSA, a lot like Parkinson's. Believe me, it's been no fun. With Parkinson's though, at least you have some meds that you can control some of the symptoms. With this cursed MSA, there's no cure, I'm just slowly going down. PM me if you want.

Jack

My mom was diagnosed 5 years ago with Parkinson's. The meds seem to help with the symptoms.

My wife has advanced MS, and essential tremors, among other stuff, last time at the doctor she said she thinks it might actually be Parkinsons, My mom had a form of it called PSP, a rare neurological disease with symptoms similar to Parkinsons.
Meds haven't helped my wife, as she's allergic to them, and there was no cure for mom,.
Hopefully meds will help you, ..

My dad has it . My advice - take time to do what you want before you can't . The med's help alot , but over time they will diminish in affectiveness

My dad had it before he passed away back in May the meds helped him but keeping active is even more important then the meds.sitting around will make it worse sooner.

Hey Bob,
I was diagnosed almost 7.5 years ago at the prime age of 46. It sucks for sure, but I'm still trapping as much as I can. I just have to make sure I take my meds on time and work accordingly. Wishing you the best on your journey with Parkinson's

Both my dad and my oldest brother had Parkinsons and passed away from complications of. My dad was diagnosed at 69 and passed away at 87. Oldest brother passed at 85.

Meds help make things better especially in the early years.
