It’s a split. Widened a bit more than FHA dimensions. No wedge, tails pinned to a board that Mel gave me with the split. Last ones all came off like nothing. Best thing I did was turn the paws this morning after drying over night, sure saved the thumbs!

Used large for the front legs. The boards Mel gave me for the tail work good, super soft bass wood I guess.

I was going to do a video of me pointing to and old needleless tamarack in a swamp "You see that tree there Rusty? That's what Christmas is aaallll about"......lol. Once I'm done my call shift Jan 10th I'll be back relocating stuff. Buddy did a quick check yesterday and says there's wolf tracks everywhere again. And he missed 2 friggin snares. Might have to do a night check and get someone to cover for a few hours. With this warm weather, it's gotta be done, make time and possibly very little sleep. The life of a trapper eh?....lol
