My uncle had one named My Big Toe. He had lost his toe in an accident at work and bought the boat with his settlement. grin

my current boat is the JonnyRigged

it was a boat my dead friend owned , and to say anything was ever done right would be an understatement , first thing I had to do as replace the transom

it had been flooded at some point , then drug up the bank and left flipped over for 20 some years.

Jonny almost never did anything right , a quick patch here , a quick fix there , ignore this ,and not just with the boat basically everything he did the last 30 years.
there was a lot of good enough for now

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

People certainly get creative with boat names. One of my favorite I saw a long time ago was named, " She got the House. "

Did someone say boat names? First race boat was, "Smoke On The Water", current race boat, "Flat Bottom Girl."

I always thought, if I ever got a boat big enough to name, that Wave Dancer would be a good name.

I have a canoe named the Snow Flake. It's A 1976 Sea Nymph. I bought it in 1988 from Morgan Canoe Livery as a retired canoe, the day after I graduated from high school. Mice had gotten in the bow and stern and chewed the Styrofoam, that prevents the canoe from sinking if capsized. When I tested it on the Little Miami River, before buying it, little bits of Styrofoam blew out in the wind, looking like snowflakes. Thus the name. I made a lot of money trapping turtles with the Snow Flake.

Boats should be named after a woman, however never a wife or girlfriend. But if it already has another name don’t change it, (unless you offer a gift to Neptune, such as pouring a bottle of beer into the water)
