What are people getting for Iowa coyote this year?
Finished fur I'm thinking.
I won't be trapping, but I have some from last year in the freezer yet

I haven't heard any numbers, but I'm sure it won't be pretty. The ITA sale is on the 11th, so the results should give you a god idea on prices.

Not a lot of sign around here .Very spotty, a few fox coming back but I dont think that is entirely because of the decline of coyotes but CRP and 50 foot barriers on creeks

In November, I was hearing $5 skinned or put up. Not a lot of incentive to harvest many.

$5 skinned is about average same for coon. Better than $0.
Last year my buyer wouldn’t touch them.
I’m. Im no too far from west Iowa border maybe an hour drive to. The Missouri River.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I'd have to disagree, $5 for a skinned coyote would make slave labor seem like vacation.

Obviously coyotes are now made of leaverite, like most other North American furbearers.
