Potential ammo for the anti's to use may be a concern. The big thing is where the end of the ray is at so that the cable is pulled straight into it. A pic of a properly placed cable would do the trick IMO. Rather than centered on the back of the neck, it should be placed more behind one ear or the other so that the cable is straight as it is pulled into the ray. Purchasing a Death Ray is money well spent. The time it saves in cleaning blood from fur is worth it alone. SO nice to bring a bunch of critters home that haven't bled onto one another.

I wish I could find someone around here techy enough to help me put one together! I agree, a video would sure help, but on the other hand, I can't build them fast enough to supply the market now! I have never advertised at all, everything has been word of mouth.

Hi Lee, do you think you will make it to the Iowa trappers convention this year? I would like to see them first hand. Thank you

No, since I started teaching at the FTA college, the dates to make both the Ia and the Mo rondys have not worked. Sorry, but can only do what I can!

Thanks Swifty for answering for me. Had to go to town for an appointment. Will be at the FTA and the Nats in Springfield this year. About the only state rondys are Ne and Ks. Will also be at the spring Tx rondy!

Probably be in a tailgater spot, but not sure at this time yet.

Would someone mind sending me a PM and explaining 'nose tap' to this noob, please?

I'm pretty sure I can find the nose, but with what tapper and with what 'gentleness' the tap is conducted, would of be some help.

I've only got about 12 coon to my name, have thought about using Lee's device, but am having difficulty imagining myself within 2 feet of an upset coon.

Thanks.

It appears these death rays are made by someone else now. Are they still made just as good? I purchased a trappers pole /dispatch pole from Southern Snares. I'm not exactly satisfied with it.

NO BS will make you a great product and stand behind it in my experience. I don't think Lee would sell the business to anyone who would do otherwise.

Death Ray us the way to go. No BS is top shelf in all my dealings with them. Great people!

I have one of each.

Did Lee sell his business to No BS? Description says they are updated for one or two parts in the assembly.

The dispatch pole I use is a snare attached to a 6’ pole. It works very well for almost anything I come across, except for the occasional ornery one!

The problem I'm having with the generic trappers dispatch pole is it doesn't seem to tighten enough and it will loosen up if your not careful.

This is the one I'm using....
