Third day of sourkrout, I can now produce a very strong long distance call lure

Corn Bread, Collard Greens, Black Eyed Peas over rice (Hoppin' John) and Ham. Brings the best of luck for the new year. And we sure need it after the last four.

We eat some new animal on New Year's Day every year. The rule is that most of the people attending can't have had had it before. We are running out of new meats that are easily attainable. Some of the odder meats we've eaten are Alpaca, Camel, Rattle Snake, Burmese Python, Iguana, Kangaroo and much more. This year we ate Dorado fish from the Mediterranean Sea near Greece. That's much less odd than what we usually eat.




The Dorado was good.

Not sure what they are but those fish ain't Dorado....AKA Mahi Mahi.... Branzini maybe?

There are at least 3 species of fish commonly called Dorado, including these, Mani Mahi and a yellow colored river fish from rivers in South America.
