Makes excellent trailing lure. Put it in a squeeze bottle and squirter some in a line to your trap.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

I’m sure it’d work great, but if you really want to catch them with bait, there are lots of less greasy, dirty things you could use. Some that you’ll even eat what’s left over, lol.
It’s one think to use that stuff if you have a hard to catch animal, but to start off with something that’s going to cause a mess? That was one of my thoughts; if bring the traps back in, they'll have to be cleaned out eat time to reduce the smell etc. "The juice may not be worth the squeeze" in this case.

FWIW2U: I use the sludge from the bottom of my VFW Post' fish fryers in my DP's, works great.

Auger out a 4 inch hole 2 ft. deep. Pour it nearly full. Come back in a few days. You let me know Easy way to punch in some post holes! LOL
