Correction west of Abilene I70 looks like the highway out of Iraq vehicles all over and deck is sheer glaze so yeah hope we maintain power through out all this…

Sounds like a good day to make a pot of chili or stew or something and just hang out on trapperman or read a trapping magazine.

Not going to get here tell early morning. I picked up 300lb of sand tubes for the back of my 2wd. Going to leave a little early for work in the morning. In years past they have given us the option to stay and work 2 years ago inwas here 36 hours could have stay 42 but 36 was enough.

I'm definitely wishing I had put the back up Gen set on the priority list higher this year.

Yep if you are going to Russell Stovers you may go west on third street, I go to Rocks Liquor store on west third they are friends of ours and good people too. Yuengling is something I have a couple of friends in Nebraska who always want me to bring them some kind of like the old Coors days …..

Went and filled all the gas and diesel cans early this morning. Tested the generator. Hopefully those things will keep the worst of it at bay. Currently we have a light glaze on everything. Youngest daughter was mad because we canceled her plans for her today. As we told her, "Live and learn ..... if you don't live means you don't learn."

They're forecasting 1/2 to 3/4 inch of freezing rain accumulation in the Lebanon Missouri area. That's not good at all.
I'm far enough south of that area we're just forecast to get rain..... I hope.

We only got about 2 feet here..(Im between Fulton and Oswego),,but its still coming down to where I cant see the trucks in the driveway.Tomorrow morning should be fun.
