Been out of predator trapping for awhile now and just been running mink traps on the road with my little boy. I'm wanting to get a couple dozen footholds and start predator trapping again. I did use the mb550s but I'm interested in the duke 550 and 650. Wondering what y'all think about them, are they worth the money? Also wondering about their pan tension out of the box.

I have 12 dozen mb 550s. I bought a dozen Duke 550s a couple years ago. So far I haven't had any problems with them, and to tell you the truth I can't tell any difference in the two of them with hold, lockup or setting. I've retired the other 30 or so dozen coyote traps I've got

hands down the best value on affordable ready to use out of the box traps. only 2 complaints. chain is junk but will work for awhile and the 650s lock up so tight it's hard to release a critter.
