My favorite is Adjustment of Leg Hold Traps. Almost as much fun tweaking traps as it is setting them.

Got them all.find more each time I read them again.

adjustment of leghold traps taught me more about how to make my traps more productive than anything else. Charles Dobbins had a wonderful insight into small things that pay huge dividends on the trapline. I also have the others shown on here.

Mr. Dobbins, as i respectfully called him, was a friend and a mentor.

He taught me adjustment, tuning, and modification of leghold traps.
He autographed and gave me his books - but i insisted on paying.
He always had a good supply of hardware too.

It was an honor and a privilege to know him - he was a very fine person.

Great Find at a Great price

If you are looking for a book to take that smart beaver that seems impossible to catch, get Beaver & Otter Trapping, Open Water Techniques by Mr. Dobbins. I bought the book sometime back and had great success taking beaver in ways I would never have thought of. Highly recommend the book.
