Never had them but I think that's going to change, making them for breakfast shortly. Going to put chokecherry syrup that my wife maked on them

I, also never heard of them, but, gave them a try this morning.
I baked them, sprinkled them with powdered sugar, and topped them with home made cranberry sauce, and Trader Joes Marchino cherries.
They were Superb.
PS:
Whisking the eggs, milk and nutmeg reminded me of egg nog. So I added a cup of that, too.
Man who mistake shillelagh for fairy wand; see pixie dust, also.

I made some this morning-pretty good,topped with maple syrup. They are similar to a yorkshire pudding but more filling.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Next time I make them I will cut back the salt a bit also. There are some interesting variations of them,I see one with buttermilk I may try,
